hi, ive not added any content now for about 2 weeks as ive been finishing off a lot of college work - its all done now, and i went out partying last night, so my head is really sore just now. ive just started to use itunes as my full time media player - i have used windows media player and winamp for ages now, and ive never really been in to itunes, but my music library was all messed up and winamp kept adding all my samples for some reason, which gets really nasty. windows media player had died a long time ago due to the size of my music library. itunes seems to be working ok for just now, which is cool. one of the things i like most about it is that it fetches all the album artwork from the itunes store, so all my cds now have covers. you also get the cool wee bottom store thing that tells you other tracks that ppl who have bought the song you are listening to have also bought, kinda cheeky, but a cool feature. ive been looking into the podcasts part of itunes too, ive listened to a few podcasts for a few years now, winamp has had this feature for years, so i re-added all my regular podcasts and found some cool new ones -the thing about itunes podcasts though is that they dont remove stale podcasts - so you can add a new feed and it just stays there, even if the podcast is long dead.
one of the cool podcasts that ive subscribed to is the nin remixes - remix.nin.com basically you can download other peoples nin remixes and listen to them, i like getting them so i can mess them up and make my own mixes - i need to start uploading them to remix.nin.com so other people can hear my creations.
as ive been doing a load of college work im gonna start adding it to this site - chunk by chunk - so ill have a shitload of new content soon, i just bought a p4 dual core 3.4 gig cpu for £40 from ebay so that i can use an old motherboard that i have lying about and make a dedicated music machine - this one im on is a bit of an alrounder- a jack of all trades and a master of none. the new machine im making will be my recording pc, so ill need to buy a few big drives for it to store all the crap, and some sort of midi thing to sync the two machines together, which will be nice for creating new tunes, ill keep you all updated on what happens, there will be more stuff on today hopefully as i start putting up the work i have done for college.
