more videos…
By jonathan | September 28th, 2008 | Category: featured, video |i just made a little video, its another test of visualisation, but this time I used windows media player to generate the visualisations, I was really testing out a new screen capture thing I found caled tipcam - its ok, not the best - it only records at 15 FPS, which is pretty low.
but it does have some nice features - it records direct to flv, so no messing about with crappy convertors, and it uploads direct to youtube from within the program..I cant really see me using it for recording the visualisations, but I can see me using it to record some tutorials. another nice feature that it has is that it can record the audio while your recording the video, so you can make a tutorial in one pass, though it has an option to record a voice over in a second pass, so you can record the video, then talk over it, I had a go at using VVVV but it seems a little too involved! I did see an interesting article on lifehacker yesterday that had some tips about controlling the new visualisations that are inside itunes8 - but I stopped using itunes cos itunes 8 is a piece of crap. its still better than windows media player, but its not as good as the old itunes. Im going to be messing about with the visualisations all day today and i’ll probably upload a few more videos as I progress…
