css stuff

well, i got rid of the ajax, and went on a kind of useability spree - ive made all the links the same color (except two which i am fixing now) they are all a mad yellow / gold colour, which i might change. but at least you can see all the links now.
ive also changed the boxes from square to rounded corners, at least for the main pages, i…

new stuff

ive added a few coolthings to my site -
firstly i upgraded the wordpress and all the plugins, which went really smoothly, for once..
then i re-designed the header so that the rss feed is in the to left, and i added my last.fm radio player thingy, i need to do a bit of hacking to get it to not re-load the player every time you go to a new page, i also need to fix the front page a bit - its becoming a bit stale, also the tutorials page looks crap, i need to re-design it so that all the tutorials are displayed in the boxes at the bottom, and not all the random entries from the categories - that should only take a few minutes to do, the radio player thing will take longer.
im not to keen on the position of the search bar thingy, it could be neater.
also i need to make the searcher use google search cos its better, and i can get some money for the searches that you lot do on my site.
i found that all my feeds were crap. my hosting provider had added a bit of code to count the pageviews, but i dont use my hosting providers stats, i use google stats, so i had to remove their code, which was added at run time, it was a hidden option in their control panel that took me ages to find !

podcasts

hi, ive not added any content now for about 2 weeks as ive been finishing off a lot of college work - its all done now, and i went out partying last night, so my head is really sore just now. ive just started to use itunes as my full time media player - i have used windows media player and winamp for ages now, and ive never really been in to itunes, but my music library was all messed up and winamp kept adding all my samples for some reason, which gets really nasty. windows media player had died a long time ago due to the size of my music library. itunes seems to be working ok for just now, which is cool. one of the things i like most about it is that it fetches all the album artwork from the itunes store, so all my cds now have covers. you also get the cool wee bottom store thing that tells you other tracks that ppl who have bought the song you are listening to have also bought, kinda cheeky, but a cool feature. ive been looking into the podcasts part of itunes too, ive listened to a few podcasts for a few years now, winamp has had this
