Batch 5 of the homebrew apple cider — and it’s coming together nicely. Each batch has been a chance to tweak the process, and this one feels like a real step forward. Fermented from apple juice with a wine yeast, it pours clear and pale gold with a satisfying fizz and a clean, crisp apple flavour that’s refreshing without being too sweet.
I’m starting to perfect the cider!
