This will show you how to enable internet connection sharing on osx.

• system preferences > sharing
• tick the ‘internet sharing’ check box
• pick the connection that you want to share and where you want to share it

• the next step is to create an adhoc network
• click on the wifi icon in the status bar
• click on create network
• pick some security and enter a passphrase
