Today we set off from Glasgow to Sorrento, Italy. Zoe’s Dad picked us up from home and drove us to the airport. We checked our bags in (I had to put my rucksack – the one I got for the west highland way last year – in the ‘outsized’ section because it has a million straps on it) Flight took off at 3:00.

we flew over the alps and landed in Naples at 18:00 gmt (19:00 local time) and got our bags then got our taxi transfer to Sorrento – nice big fancy merc. Glad we booked the taxi – it took an hour and 15 mins to get here, cant imagine that on a bus :|

once we got to the hotel (its very nice, our room has a balcony overlooking the pool and the lemon grove next door) we dumped our bags and went for a little exploring. It was dark by this time. We went to Da Franco’s Pizzeria (saw it on trip advisor) – it was awesome, I had a primadonna pizza, zoe had a vegetarian pizza. We then went back to the hotel (about half past 11 local time) and crashed out!
