We went down for breakfast at 9:30 in Sorrento. I had a boiled egg and a couple of rolls, some coffee, some orange juice and a yoghurt, Zoe had: toast, scrambled egg, cheese, cold meat, croissant, melon, orange juice and a small coffee!

We had a walk in Sorrento to see what was there, we found a maze of wee lanes, packed with the usual tourist trinkets: lemon this and lemon that, leather shops and places to eat. Its 32 degrees C outside, the lanes were a lot cooler. after exploring for a couple of hours we stopped for a coffee then went to the supermarket for beer, pringles and lemonade, then made our way back to the hotel at 12:30 for aircon and a rest!

Zoe read a book on the kindle and I messed about with my blog (had to increase the memory limit and disable some old plugins to post yesterdays post. I then made this post and did a few more tidying things, and checking on some SEO stuff)

at 4:30 we headed back towards the square and stopped for a pannini, a cake and some coffee (zoe had decaf again) we walked round some different lanes this time looking for somewhere to eat later. we headed back to the hotel around 6.

Zoe had a little snooze till about 8, at about half past we decided to go and get some dinner! we walked around sorrento for a little while until we found ‘divinia sorrento’ – we went in and got a big bottle of the coldest water, zoe had penne pasta with sausage and mushroom, I had a big bowl of spaghetti carbonara. It was awesome!. after we had our dinner we headed back to the hotel at around 11 for some well deserved aircon – it was still 26 degrees outside!!!!!!!
