Private and public info is everywhere now. It was fine, till the companies started to map the data and use it to craft their algorithms.

Server based infrastructure is the easiest way that people could come up with to share information. Its not the best way to keep private data safe.

solutions: decentralisation, distributed systems for sharing public data – segregation of data. encrypt your data by default. whats the best way, etc. forget about the hardware. encrypt the data. share the private data with everyone, but make sure only you can decrypt your own.

peer to peer networks to share all the data. dont send passwords over the network.

sounds like they are describing etherium and d-apps.
