Quickly add any url from any app to safari reading list

December 9, 2011 Safari

This one is cool: Quickly add any url from any app to safari reading list!

  • highlight a url (in the address-bar in chrome or firefox)
  • goto the services menu (appname > services)
  • you will find a link for ‘add to reading list’
  • click it :)

In chrome you can highlight the url in the address-bar, right click on it and the add to reading list entry is there too :D

I was looking for a way to add the new reading list feature for safari to chrome and firefox, so that I could add urls to the reading list then I could look at the articles later on my ipad / iphone and vice versa, but this method will suffice
