Our fireplace is made from fake stone – almost concrete like, but trying to look and feel like sandstone. Its very nice, but it’s a yellow colour. We decided to paint it, and after a little research found that chalk paint would be best, here are the results
After leaving to dry it looks really good – I think it does need a second coat, but the transformation is fantastic – I’ve even painted the skirting boards to match
