You can wikipedia as the default dictionary in osx. I use the dictionary all the time, and I’m constantly in wikipedia, so this one is useful at least for some people :)
open the dictionary,
go to preferences
click on wikipedia, drag it to the top of the list.
Now your default dictionary is wikipedia
