Getting your google reader stuff on your mac and iphone or ipod touch

This one is pretty cool. ive been looking for a decent way to get all my feeds to my mac. I have them all setup in google reader and was thinking about putting them all into mail.app (which im still working on) – but untill then I offer an intermediate solution.

NetNewsWire – available for both the mac and iphone. the mac version lets you type in your google reader info and pulls the feeds from there. its pretty much like any other feed reader – it pulls your feeds and lets you flag the good ones or the ones that you want to follow up later on.

you can get them from newsgator.com

Im just setting up the iphone one now, so ill provide a running commentary.

basically you just search the app store for netnewswire. when its installed  you just add your google login when it first opens. simple.

when it logs in it will download all your google reader feeds and then you are set to go.
