Taking a screenshot on an iphone is something that you have probably done by mistake a ton of times. Its not always that easy to know what to do if someone asks you (though once you know its a very simple thing to do!. This post will show you how to take a screenshot with an iphone
How to take a screenshot with an iphone.
To take a screenshot with an iphone you simply press the two buttons at the same time:
- Press the button at the bottom of the front of your phone [the home button]
- At the same time, press the button at the top of the ipad / iphone that turns the display off [power button]
You dont have to do them at exactly the same time, its not that sensitive – just press them both at the same time ant it’ll work. You also don’t have to press and hold one and then press the other (though it does work if you do it this way too)
Your ipad or iphone will make a camera shutter sound when you have pressed both buttons at the same time, and the screeen will flash, telling you that the image has been taken. The image will be saved into your ‘Photos’ app where you can edit, crop, rotate, share, etc as you would normally do. You can also add the image as an attachment in mail.app as you would add a normal attachment (tap on the text editing area and click on “insert image” from the black popup bar that appears)
