Day 5: cannes to st raphael

Today was brutal. it was far too hot.
knowles has a sore neck; probably from sleeping in his sauna on the bed of rocks last night, but maybe whiplash. great.
I almost ran over a snake. we also got offered a flat to rent by some mad french woman.
we were going to go to the jazz festival, but made a stirfry instead.
I think we might get a train somewhere tomorrow, or cycle to st tropez. no campsites there, so we would have to do a night cycle again…
