Viewing iphoto photo album on apple tv : This will show you how to view an iphoto photo album on apple tv2.
This also works with Yosemite and El-Capitan with the new ‘photos’ app.

To view photos on the Apple TV, you need to have Home Sharing turned on in iTunes and your Apple TV, your computer must be on, and iTunes must be open.

Setup Home Sharing on your apple tv

• goto settings > computers
• turn on home sharing
• put in your apple ID and password (make sure to use the same id and password on each device)

Setup Home Sharing on your Mac, or PC

• open itunes
• sign in with your apple ID and password (make sure to use the same id and password on each device)
• goto file > home sharing
• turn on home sharing

Share your photos from your pc or mac

• Open itunes on your mac or pc, goto advanced > Choose Photos to Share
• Pick the albums you want to share, or pick your entire itunes library
• Enable itunes sharing on your apple tv2 and on your itunes

Viewing iphoto photo album on apple tv

On your apple tv, goto Photos then ‘My Photos’
You will then be able to see all the photos you just shared :)
