I just found this out by mistake!
while trying to alt+click on the timemachine icon in the osx system bar thing in the menu bar I held cmd instead of alt…
if you cmd+click on items in the system menu bar then you can move their position and even drag them off the bar altogether to remove them!
Bet the designers don’t know this.
